Hey,
We are newbies, so never saw your post.
My husband, Trail-Boss, just had a Baclofen pump put in. So, what would you like to know.

Hi Mike,

Sorry no one has replied before now. I'd read your first post but didn't feel I should try persuade or dissuade you one way or the other. You also didn't ask any specific questions. When I was your age -- 23 -- I was in much better physical condition than I am now at 45 so I really didn't think I was "qualified" to respond to you. As I've gotten older, Mike, my spasticity, tightness, walking, and overall physical well being worsened. I too had clonus, tight ankles, knees, calves, hips, etc. My clonus is gone, my reflexes are now wonderful, I'm still tight but not nearly as tight as I was pre-pump (2/28/06). I'm working with p.t to loosen and hopefully retrain and strengthen leg muscles so that I can again walk independently without the aid of the walker that I began using in 2001. This would be wonderful if it occurs, but if not, at least I am living almost pain free for the first time in more years than I care to remember. If you have any specific questions you'd like me to answer, post away and I'll reply asap.

Take Care,

Dawn
