A friend of mine is rebuilding an old Invacare Rolls 500 for me and we are trying to figure out the best place to get mountings and such. My local wheelchair place will order items for me but at astronomical prices so I am looking for other alternatives. Any suggestions on where I can search either locally or web? (I'm on west coast USA)

Thanks in advance!

I have bought a fair amount of stuff off ebay. I bought a set of standard wheels with rims for all of $29.00. They are new and in teh wrappers.

I bought a backup set of brakes for $6.00

I bought a brand new ROHO Quattro cushion 18 x 18 for $100.00

It takes a while, but put a low ball bid in on a bunch of stuff and you will slowly aquire what you need.

Watch out for the shipping. It's not uncommon for people to sell stuff cheap and then tack on a really high shipping or handling cost.

Good luck
