After being persuaded by my crew I decided to fish the Northeast Florida Marlin Association Tournament Championship Series, just as I did before my SCI.

Well my boys kept hoisting me up to the bridge and we had a nice "comeback" season.

We finished with the 1st and 3rd place Wahoo and 2nd in total Sailfish Releases.

One less surgery this year and I know we would have won the Sailfish category.

Also ended up in the top 10 for "Boat of the Year".

Of course we are the only boat with a "Para" Capt.

I know it seems silly that this would excite me after all my SCI issues, but it still does !

Thanks,

It's really about my friends. When I got injured I wanted to sell the boat but they "stood up" to keep it ready if I ever could use it.

Then one day one said "you don't need your legs to run that thing" !
Hard to argue about that.

So now they work twice as hard both on the boat and "propping me up"

I love those guys.
