Campaign to government Health Committees worldwide
France 2/2/2007 11:09 AM GMT (TransWorldNews)

www.stepnow.org - Stand Together to End Paralysis Now! is a spinal cord injury global grassroots initiative launching their third international campaign, which is aimed specifically at government Health Committees worldwide, urging them to support and provide funding for research aimed at a cure for paralysis.

The campaign takes the form of 10 page folder * including a compelling letter putting forward the case for spinal cord injury, its physical, social and economic implications, and the urgency for a cure. The letter is supplemented by international statistics regarding spinal cord injury, incidence of injuries and healthcare costs alongside summaries of the most promising spinal cord research projects taking place right now around the world. * folder available in pdf format in English, US, French, Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish, Croatian & Norwegian www.stepnow.org will not stop ‘thinking tall’ until a cure for spinal cord injury becomes a reality.

Thanks, though I wonder if I will be welcome.

Absolutely everyone that is interested in supporting cure research for paralysis/spinal cord injury is welcome - it doesn't matter where you are in the world, what level of injury you have, how you got it, or even if you have an injury at all - caregivers, family, friends, are all welcome too. The important thing is for us all to band together and keep the public's and governments' focus on the urgency and need for support and most importantly funding of cure research.

Is it only me that thought the title of this thread a little ironic?
