Okay, summer is still months away, but I am looking at it and wondering about all of the things I would so love to do. I went boating last year, not a problem with a little help... I have always wanted to try jet skiing, and I have to wonder if this is possible, how much leg strength does it require, blah blah blah or are there adaptations available to make it possible?

Anyone have any knowledge on this??

Before my accident I rode a stand up jet ski, I've never tried the sit down style. I'm a T6,7,8 and I think i would be a breeze to ride one. Once your on it just gas it. I can't remember which thread it was, but Russ has a picture of himself waterskiing on a wide board and it looks like fun.

Jet Ski'n on a sit down type is a piece of cake. The bumping up and down may hurt your back after a while. Try to use a corset of some type to help out. Oh and the big thing, ALWAYS WEAR A LIFE JACKET! And try to have a friend with you at all times. If you fall off, it will be a pain in the ass to get back on.

thanks juls . jet sking is quiet simple for any para. getting on and off at a wharf or jetty is a simple process. getting of in the water is easy ( go hard ) . getting on takes some skill & strength but gets easier with practice. i have had quiet a fey people of different levels riding mine & you wont fall off unless you try tricks. i can highly recomend it for extreme fun & excitement. they are quiet cheap second hand . so go have some fun
