Yesturday I was involved in a sci study on the effects of heart cardio and blood pressure using electrical stimulation.
Basically I pedal a bike using electrical stimulation while they monitor my heart rate and blood pressure. It was interesting to see my legs peddaling a bike by themselves. T\he study lasts 12 weeks, three days a week.
I have heard of this in the UK but they use rowing machines. I was just wondering if anyone else has got to experience this.
Life is one long insane trip. Some people just have better directions.

Pedaling a bike is also good for building endurance and loosening the joints. The joints are the easiest, I stand corrected, to experience contractures especially if not frequently mobilized, stretched or strengthened. Keep on pedaling until you relearn the function of the feet again. For sure, there will be a time that you wont need stimulation to pedal because you will be able to control it yourself. My two cents.
