I need a new wheelchair. I have a Quickie GT now. I've had it for a few years and it really needs replacing. I was thinking of getting a new custom chair from Lasher Sport. I know the measurements I need and how I need my chair set up now, and I think that the least amount of moving parts there is now the better the chair will be. The one I have now is very adjustable and it's a great chair for starting out because you can keep adjusting things until you find the right balance. Now I need something that is made for me and that will last awhile.

Does anyone here have a chair from Lasher Sport or have any suggestions on a good chair? :)

I was just trying to find a post from awhile back where people posted pics of their chairs, but can't seem to find it. Is it still here? Does anyone know? Thanks.

Cannot help you with the link for the wheelchair topic unfortunately, but thought I would post my new one (after I finally figured out how to upload from cell to PC) , for you and everyone to check out.

It is a COLOURS Spazz-G and am very pleased with it, rides great, gives me good mobility, works great for me.
Tires have been added, they are PU KIK tires...have them on my other chair as well.

That's a really nice chair WheelsWithAttitude. :th_driving1:

I checked the rgk website. They have a few chairs that I think are ok, but I have a few things I want in a chair that isn't usually on them. I want a loop built onto the front of the frame at a certain height to attach my guide dog's leash to, and I also want a bigger footplate so my feel will stay on it and not fall down between the footrest and caster. I also thought this could be solved by getting an extra tube built behind the footrest instead of using a calf strap. That way my feet can't fall off and can be moved back far enough I wont break any more toes on the corners of doorways! It will also add extra stability to the chair.

I'm getting a chair built that will look a lot like this:

RGK is highly customisable and the guys can make whatever you want.

I like the bigger tubing that Lasher Sport uses on their chairs. I have heard good things about rgk though. What kind do you use?
