Trail-Boss is scheduled for this procedure.
Was wondering if anyone has had this done and did it help.
Also, did medicaid cover it? He has been getting UTI's once a month, so the doc's are saying he has a over active bladder. He gets pretty sick with these infections. They also think he may have a bug that he may never totally get rid of.
If anyone has any info out there I'd like to hear it.
Thanks, wife Stick-Tight
PS: As far as Botox goes, I sure could use some too!!!

Hi Stick-Tight :)

My friend got this done last year as she has a really sensative bladder..Once it wore off I know she didn't re do it but not sure about the rest. I'll email her and get her to tell me a bit about it..then pass it on. Give us a couple of days..she's slack in answering her emails :P

That would be great if anyone could provide some info and share some experiences with botox.

I am on regular meds now, for my spastic bladder but was considering to try injections, since I have read that they last from anywhere between 6 to 10 months or so.

Yea, this has to be done every 6 to 12 months and apparently is very exspensive and not sure medicaid will cover it.
Not only was Boss in the hospital last week for 4 days with a UTI, he also had a very bad reation to some dye contrast they injected ,by IV's, for a cat scan. So now because of that, he has to get checked out to see if he is allergic to shell fish. He's always loved seafood, but next time it could be fatel.
But anyway, this Botox is to relax the muscles so he voids all the way. But all we have is MA, so would really like to know if this is worth pushing for. We have to do something, he gets pretty sick with the UTI's.
Ya know, wouldn't ya think enough is enough?
I know we'll be ok, just gotta BELIEVE.
