I have a pair of these. They are great, and very soft on the inside. I can get them on and off very easily (even with no hand movement). You can find the same shoes in men's sizes here. They are very well made, and well worth the money.
I hope this helps.

Fantastic! I looked to see if they're available in the UK and found THREE shops in my City which sell them. Thanks
In the Summer I usually wear a pair of Reebok ankle boots but most of my other footwear is soft/fur lined and covers my ankles. No particular brand but Im always on the look out for shoes/boots that I can wear. I found the biggest problem is finding 'shoes' wide enough, as my feet have spread. Often I have to buy 'shoes' two sizes to big, luckily I have small feet!
In winter I wear 'snow' boots which have a lovely thick soft lining which causes no problems and keeps my feet warm too.
Good luck

I bought them in a full size bigger so that he could slip a Dr. Scholl's gel pad into them. He likes them because they stretch to go on and the sides are low on the ankles where he got sores from his other shoes. The only thing is that they are kind of wide and don't fit as easily onto his footplate as some of his other shoes. Maybe these could be an option for you as well?

I'm 33. I need business as well as casual shoes. Money no object for me when it comes to shoes since they last a long long long long...did I say long time? I had a fantastic pair of Sketchers that were perfect but found my puppy using them as a chew toy. They stopped making them a couple years ago.
Keep the suggestion coming.
Any old school skaters/bikers out there remember Airwalks? You talk about comfy shoes.

I bought my bf a pair of Dakotas to travel overseas with..they're slip on shoes and have a VERY padded, cushiony sole..he's not in a w/c but said he'd recommend them as they look tidy and are really comfortable..he didn't get one blister after 3 months of trekking!
Hope you find something..it's such a pain in the bum trying to find shoes!!

I agree that they are easy on & off & great grip, no laces of course. Sierra also have a very wide range of different ones that look comfie, but i've bonded with Merrell
I've got ones that are Polartec inside, fleece inside etc - 4 pairs. Love them. I used to get Gravis skate shoes but they don't seem to make sensible ones anymore, more silly fashion really.
I also wear a full size larger now than before injury or my feet become very uncomfortable.
Good luck on the great shoe hunt. I'm going to check out Juls' recommendation too for Oz - not heard of them.
