Hello everyone: I've recently posted about accepting a wheelchair/scooter and got some great responses. I have a scooter on order which should help me manage everyday life a little easier, But my wife and I were talking recently about how much we miss traveling. We have taken a couple trips to the caribbean with family and friends in the past and I was wondering what the chances are that I might be able to manage such a trip now. The last time we went I was just starting to use a cane. I can still handle short distances with my forearm crutches and would probably have to use a wheelchair around the resort but my main concern would be the beach. Does anyone have any suggestions about a travel type chair that is accepted on airplanes? Is there any type of chair that can be used on the beach? Living in New England this time of year I really miss the warm weather, pina coladas, and topless beaches, :) and being a rookie at this I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have. Jim
