I wrote a little while ago about suddenly getting onset of the shakes & then constant heart beat irregularity (missing beats then big beats) - still don't know whether it is a weird SCI related reaction to coming off a beta-blocker (Inderal) so now doing even slower come off with GP; or just a weird individual reaction to the coming off; or whether my thyroid has been somehow effected by SCI. About to have blood tests to see if any clues. Dr thinks its very unusual so we are checking it out. Anyone ever known / heard of / experienced a thyroid reaction or perhaps even adrenalin out of control reaction with their SCI??
I've not seen anyone talking about anything like that here....
Thankyou for input

I had a misdiagnosed internal spinal tumour at the age of 10years. Im now 31. They now think the radiotherapy i had then has re surfaced and is destroying cells and maybe cause of the thyroid probs but dont know 100% till get other tests done.

Ive been diagnosed with and overactive thyroid since my accident, but I guess you cant tell if its sci related or it was just going to happen anyway, and of course they cant tell you how long you may have had it for, you only see the doc when you have a symptom you cant resolve!!!
