Hey, Milosh.
Not sure about hypersensitive parts, i'm sure it would be just as bad or worse as a normal touch.
As for tattooing a scar, most tattooist or all would not tattoo a scar. Because the ink does not penetrate that type of skin well, the ink also tends to spread more on a scar. You would probably get more info from a tattooist about a scar tattoo but, I thought I would share some info that I've heard. If you have anymore tattoo ?'s let me know. I have a few and once you get 1 you will want more.

Hey Milosh :)

There was this guy on a current affairs programme who had burns to most of his body..in order to stop people staring at him all the time, he got his whole body tattooed. Now people stare at him for different reasons!
He said the pain was excruciating (sp?) but worth it..I think there's a guy that uses the forum that is a tattooist...not sure what his name is though but I think he was in another discussion on tattoos in cafe apparelyzed. Maybe you could ask him??

Hey Milosh, I'll give you another update in a few weeks, but one of my birthday gifts coming are from an artist friend of mine.... the night of my accident, I was on my way to his shop to have my one tattoo added to... the symbol for Faith In God, done on my back, between my lower shoulderblades, tied in with the symbol for Strength that I already have... I didn't make it. I've put it off for a year, but he called last week to see if I would like to have it done for free for my b-day... I hadn't thought about the fact that this is one of my hypersensitive areas now, but I'm going to do it anyway... now that I do think about it, its prolly going to hurt like hell.... oh well. I'll let you know how it goes.

hi all

sorry to join this topic a bit late but i love ink (my other half isnt so keen ;) ) i have had tattoos before and after my injury. I use a brilliant tattoo artist called pert in belfast and refuses to tattoo below the level of parlysis as you bleed more and because it can send your spasms haywire

hope that didnt burst anyones bubble
