HI EVERYONE. I JUST WANT TO SAY SORRY I HAVNT ANSWERED PMS RECENTLY, MY PC CAUGHT A VIRUS AND WAS OUT OF ACTION FOR A WHILE, I FOUND IT SO LONELY NOT HAVING THIS SUPPORT, HADNT REALISED HOW MUCH COMFORT I GOT FROM VISITING THE FORUM. SINCE GETTING IT FIXED MY HUBBY HAS BEEN VERY ILL SO I HAVE STILL ONLY HAD THE CHANCE TO LOOK IN EVERY SO OFTEN AROUND HIS NEEDS. FOR AROUND THREE WEEKS HE HAS BEEN HAVING CHEST PROBLEMS, I HAVE HAD TO CALL OUT THE GP TWICE A WEEK AND THEY JUST KEPT SAYING HE HAS AN INFECTION, HE HAS TRIED ALL DIFFERENT ANTIBIOTICS NONE HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE. TWO DAYS AGO AT 5 oclock IN THE MORNING HIS BREATHING WAS WORSE THAN EVER I CALLED FOR AN AMBULANCE. HE HAS GOT A SERIOUS INFECTION ON HIS LEFT LUNG AND A BLOOD CLOT IN HIS RIGHT. VERY SCARY, HE WAS PUT ON 12 LITRES OF OXYGEN AND BLOOD THINNING MEDICATION. ALSO TWO TYPES OF ANTIBIOTICS, YESTERDAY DUE TO NOT BEING GIVEN ENOUGH TO DRINK BY STAFF HE WAS ALSO PUT ON A REHYDRATION DRIP, THIS IS BEING PUMPED THROUGH BECAUSE HE IS SO DEHYDRATED. HE IS VERY ANGRY AND UPSET, HE HATES HOSPITALS WITH A PASSION, WHEN I HAVE TIME I WILL POST HIS STORY WHICH WILL EXPLAIN THAT. I WILL KEEP LOOKING IN WHEN I HAVE THE CHANCE, IT IS A VERY TIRING AND STRESSFUL TIME WHEN HE IS IN HOSPITAL. MY THREE TEENS ARE VERY ANGRY AND MY THREE LITTLE CHILDREN ARE CONFUSED SO I HAVNT MUCH TIME FOR MUCH AROUND VISITING, THANKYOU TO ALL WHO ARE THERE TO LISTEN, IT MEANS A LOT TO ME AT THE MOMENT xmoonstarx

Moonstar, so sorry to hear about your husband. I know when my husband is in the hospital, it is the most stressfull time, so I can totally relate. Keep your spirits up. One of my favorite quotes is " Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will."
