I've been a fan of Family Guy for some years now and I truly believe that they have someone with a SCI on the writing staff, or at least someone who is a family member or close friend of someone with a SCI.

The following clips totally cracked me up.

But wait, there's more!

There just HAS to be someone who intimately understands SCI on the writing staff, there just HAS to be!

:lmao: LOL! I love Family Guy. The episode where Peter broke his leg was actually on last night!

Here's another link that I thought was pretty funny. http://www.youtube.c...w...ated Don't you just feel that way sometimes? I know I do! I want to be as independent as I can, but sometimes you just need an extra boost of energy! :)

I agree. Even just the words they use. Other shows would never think about using that language for fear of cencorship or retaliation and outrage. South Park would, but who cares about that anymore. They jumped the shark a year or two ago. I thought the episode titled Petarded was also great humor about mental disability. Overall, they are very balsy in the way they take on today's issues. That's what makes it a great show!

Yes, funny as all get out! Now unfunny would be Chairspotting. I don't find this funny at all.

An old episode of Family Guy had little Stewie first meeting Joe and not understanding his chair. Stewie's line was, "What the Devil? Part man part machine? I must have this technology."

Then later when Joe is playing on the softball team and kicking ass Stewie is yelling from the bleachers, "Go cyborg!"

Newfie, I missed the episode where Peter breaks his leg yet but I can't wait to see it, I'm definitely going to try and download it somewhere. Deej & bigsmiles, pity that they have it on so darned late in the UK, thank God for Tivo is all I can say (when I remember to program it that is!). Bulky, I think some of that site is amusing and some of it just plain dumb, each to their own I guess. I didn't know about SCI fencing though which I saw on that site, that's pretty damned cool and I wouldn't mind learning a few of those skills against some nurses I know:p But let's talk about Family Guy and my love of... STEWIE!

And Big Valley, I must admit that was one of my favourite lines ever from Stewie. One of my mates actually started calling me cyborg after that and every time he does we are both in stitches. That episode where Joe is introduced to the series is definitely one of my favourites. I also love the episode when they are all acting like the A team and they have an action scene where they rush to the van and jump in and then the cartoon focuses on Joe waiting at the back of the van with the hydraulic lift going really slowly, that had me in stitches because it's so damned true. *Le sigh*

How about when Joe sits in a hot tub and his feet keep floating up?

When Peter goes to Joe for advice on being retarded. "I'm not retarded Peter, I'm handicapped."

I have every Family Guy episode d/l'd and stored on my computer and iPod.
