Hi guys,
I'm off to the download festival this year again, and I also do a lot of 4x4 driving which I plan on taking up again. This means I need some mountain bike tyres for my chair but need an extra set of wheels for them.

I know that mountain bike tyres won't go on a standard lightweight wheel like the spinergy ones on my chair, so where can I get a pair of wheels to suit my desired tyre?
Preferably in the UK, and cheap as possible lol.
Many thanks for your help in advance,
Regards,
Simon :muahaha:

Well depends on the size wheels you want and if you want actual montain bike tires or if you are ok with knobby tires of any sort. You can get some good wheelchair knobby tires that I have for my offroading and they can be put on any standard rims, pick your size. I have some wide 2" (50-540) knobbys that were a mistake to get and they fit fine on the standard 37-540 wheels. Sportaid sells some Black Knobbys that are 52-559s that they call Super Knobbies and are just a bit wider than my 2" wide knobbies.

If you want some new wheels too and intend to use them for offroading you may want to get the doublewalled wheels for durability. Eagle Sportschairs sells both the wheels and tires at the bottom of this page http://www.eaglespor...eric.html?pid=6. Sportaid also carries the wheels too http://secure.srginc.biz/product.php?brand...amp;code=4900-M Since I am in the US I dont know of any UK specific but I think both places will ship to the UK.
