Its been grand while since my accident and after 6yrs i still had emotional setbacks. But i came to find small quotes one was from a minister who said "DON"T Tell GOD how big your mountian is but tell that mountain how big your GOD is!" from Craig Hospital. It takes child like faith or child like dreams to believe in yourself again. I started reading some Prison Ministry books; "WHere flies don't land, Catch me Killer, Holes in Time, Hooked, Twice Pardoned" Lives who thought they were invincible til thier world came crashing down and ended up in prison. All thier frineds, even families some turned thier backs on them but some how they brecame to believe in thier higher power in Christ. Being able to forgive your selves for feeling self inadequate and forgtive others who have wronged you. o enjoy life agian you must JUST DO IT freely not holding anything agianst anyone. Thats freedom.
Today i am a musician, writer, and handcyclist here on the Navajo Reservation. One old guy in wheelchair once said to me "I wanted to do the things your doing when i was young man!"
That meant a whole lot!
