I’ve been suffering from arthritis pain and found some interesting articles on magnetic therapy on the net. The article suggest that wearing a magnetic bracelet can ease pain caused by arthritis of the hips and knees, UK researchers have shown.

The current British Medical Journal study found a significant reduction in pain scores among 65 wearers.

GP Dr Tim Harlow and colleagues conducted some studies on a group of patients and results were very encouraging. Reductions in pain scores were reported by the patients wearing the standard strength bracelets. I would be interested to buy such magnetic belt or attachment. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi korth,

All I can say is my Nan swears by her magnetic bracelets, she says they definitely ease her arthritis (she is 88 yrs old).

Best of luck!

I've heard/read the same articles. I've bought some of the same braclets & a backbrace that had a magnet in it as well. They didn't seem to do any good for my arthrites. Again some things work for some & not others. And there is a certain somthing to be said for the placeabo effect. Don't know how much of the magnet theory is what......just that for me it did NOT work. Sorry.

Both Ismael and Korth appear to be the same person, trying to trick his way into getting spam onto the forum.

Both his accounts have been deleted.

I've left the post though for further discussion, but I have removed his website address.

Thanks to everyone for putting him on my "radar".

Simon.
