I was out biking yesterday and was about 8km from home when all of a sudden i had a left back wheel flat. So I pulled over got off the bike and was going to patch the tub. When I started to take the tube out of the tire I noticed that the person who installed the tube had put put a larger tube on the rim. For this person to be able to fit this tube on the rim he had to fold the extra length of tube into tire. I was shocked and madder that hell because now I cannot patch the tube because the hole was where they folded the tube. Now I had to wheel that distance home and hope that the tire does not come off the rim. Well luckily I made it home, but the rim is somewhat damaged.

Now my question is when I call the Motion Specialties(place where I ordered the bike) and complain about this, I would like to know if they are the ones that assembled the bike, or does it come to them already assembled?
LIFE IS NOT A JOURNEY TO THE GRAVE WITH THE INTENTION OF ARRIVING SAFELY IN A PRETTY AND WELL PRESERVED BODY,
BUT RATHER TO SKID IN BROADSIDE, THOROUGHLY USED UP, TOTALLY WORN OUT, AND LOUDLY PROCLAIMING----WOW----WHAT A RIDE!!!

Regards

Marty

Either way,
It was their product that they sold to you. They need to take ownership and react accordingly. I think a new rim is in your future. Well it should be anyways.
