From feedback I have been given, people would like me to give some more information about the study before they click on the link.
When you click on the link you will be asked 3 questions to see if you can take part - this data is not collected as part of the study. Once you have completed these questions an information sheet will come on screen to provide you with full details of the study. Once you have read this you will then be asked if you would like to take part and give your consent. The questionnaires include questions to gather general information re gender, location etc but no specific personally identifying information e.g. email address or name is collected.
The study will involve choosing from a range of pictures which one is most like you and completing a satisfaction questionnaire. You will also be asked to answer some questions which would include statements such as:
“Some adults feel at ease with other people BUT other adults are quite shy”, rated on a scale of ‘Really true for me, to sort of true for me’.
You will be given directions on how to answer these questionnaires. The questionnaires should not take any longer than 30 minutes.
The research is part of my Clinical Psychology Doctorate and I would be really grateful if you could spare some time to help.
Thanks
