In the last 6 months I have been looking into all the Bigfoot or Sasquatch reports across the country via the Internet. You would be amazed at the sightings from people from all walks and wheels of life. lol Now from what I've read I think this maybe really true and I'm looking for another person or group of people who would like to spend a weekend hunting for this creature. If you always had a special interest in this subject please email me or leave a reply
Thanks

I'm guessing you've seen the TV special then of the guys in Oklahoma? My family and I am from there and grew up in the woods in that area. Never ran across anything like it and I think those guys were full of it. I still have family that live in that area of Oklahoma and trust me when I say that 80% of the things saw around there are visions produced by drugs. However there are black bears and black panthers in the area, that's my guess as to what these idiots heard and saw.

I grew up and live where Ed McLarney supposedly saw one, knew him well enough. He's in the movie The Mysterious Monsters from '76. I think it's hogwash.

Wouldn't it be nice? To have another creature as large as humans and intelligent enough to avoid having anyone get a clear picture/shot of one in the hundreds of years since they were first spoken of.

No legitimate tracks, fur/hair, dung, physical remains (bones). These suckers are harder to find than honest politicians. Plenty of people claim to have seen one, but nobody seems to be able to prove it.

Maybe you could get a phychic to tell you where one is. If you believe in one you must believe in the other. I'm talking about Bigfoot and Phychics now, everybody knows that the honest politicians are just a myth

I'll go with my 30.06 and scope and sit in my truck driving the mountain logging roads. You can sit passenger and take video/pics of the hunt...lol

Just a few facts before we desend into the stereotypical Bigfoot Jokes. Chimpanzees have been on the African Continent for over 7,000,000 years it was not until 2 years ago that they ever found any bones or remains of any of those creatures, Fact... Ask a hunter when was the last time they ran across the reamins of a bear or cougar that died of natural causes in the wild, I can guarantee you they haven't. The Forests have many ways and many creatures that clean up the dead. All I know is if theres one report thats true then there's something out there, I would love to find it.

The possibility that an unknown species of animal inhabits the earth, undetected by man, is not as far-fetched as it may seem. Something like only 10% of the earth has been accessed by humans. New lifeforms are being discovered all the time...we really don't know everything. (gasp!)

Local to me, the Hoosier Nat'l Forest has had regular sightings, every few years or so. Might be a cougar or an escaped exotic animal, but when well-respected community members report having seen a large animal walking upright, it gets my attention. These are seasoned hunters who know the difference between a bear and an emu.

So until proven otherwise.....I believe in the possibility.

Sorry, maybe I missed something. How, exactly, do you prove something doesn't exist?

People have been trying to do that with everything from Santa Claus to God for centuries with no luck.

Proving things exist is hard enough ( quarks, dark matter, honest polititians). At least some of them can be logically proven ( the first two).

People tend to believe what they choose to believe no matter what facts are available. The depth of their belief is based , very often, on the depth of their intellect.

We are all free to believe anything we like. Acting on those beliefs is when the trouble starts.

I would love to see you find the big hairy dude, but I don't think I'd bet the farm that it will happen.

Good luck anyway.

Sorry, but this is not about belief, this has nothing to do with faith, I just think the evidence I have seen is worth looking into. I know and understand that many folks just roll their eyes at this, And I guess I did for most of my life too, but in the last 8-12 months of looking at the valid evidence I could find, plus all those first hand sightings from people from all walks of life, I came to the conclusion that its worth a look. Plus your looking in beautiful forests and I always enjoyed camping ! So whats the harm.
Before you bet the farm it doesn't exist go to http://www.bfro.net/...rt.asp?id=15821 read a few reports from very credible people.
