No legitimate tracks, fur/hair, dung, physical remains (bones). These suckers are harder to find than honest politicians. Plenty of people claim to have seen one, but nobody seems to be able to prove it.
Maybe you could get a phychic to tell you where one is. If you believe in one you must believe in the other. I'm talking about Bigfoot and Phychics now, everybody knows that the honest politicians are just a myth

Local to me, the Hoosier Nat'l Forest has had regular sightings, every few years or so. Might be a cougar or an escaped exotic animal, but when well-respected community members report having seen a large animal walking upright, it gets my attention. These are seasoned hunters who know the difference between a bear and an emu.
So until proven otherwise.....I believe in the possibility.
Female. Incomplete para following a cord stroke in '03. Spina-bifida, severe scoliosis. 18 surgeries total...five spine-related: Three fusions w/hardware, two tethered cord releases.

People have been trying to do that with everything from Santa Claus to God for centuries with no luck.
Proving things exist is hard enough ( quarks, dark matter, honest polititians). At least some of them can be logically proven ( the first two).
People tend to believe what they choose to believe no matter what facts are available. The depth of their belief is based , very often, on the depth of their intellect.
We are all free to believe anything we like. Acting on those beliefs is when the trouble starts.
I would love to see you find the big hairy dude, but I don't think I'd bet the farm that it will happen.
Good luck anyway.
