Hey all,

I'm sitting in the hospital as I type this. I just had a colonoscopy. WooHoo! The precedure wasn't too bad but the prep was terrible. My doc is searching for what may be causing extreme pain in my lower back. I am a c6 complete with no feeling from nipple line down. I've been injured since '89 and the pain just started two or so years ago. The pain is real sharp and feels like it's in the very low lumbar region. I've tried nerve pain meds like lyrica with no help. The only thing that helps is the hard stuff like oxy. Any others with similar experience?

Have you had the usual lower spine pics? It's a little different for me since I'm T12, but my spine is developing spurs below my injury and is causing extremely sharp pain around L1-L2. Perhaps your pain is arthritic in nature? Just guessing.

sorry you're in the hospital. I've got problems sort of like what you described, but then again that's where my injury is. Hope you'll be out soon. :boxing:
