Hi all, I'm new here, a C7 quad for over 20 years, in NZ.
Was in Philippines recently and used a local Filipino, Ed Liwan, as caregiver.
Ed has recently completed nurse training and seeks work as a caregiver.
He's fluent in English and available for a live-in position, willing to help with cooking etc. He's reliable and honest and I can recommend him. Contact me initially,
Cheers

Hi Mac...im in chch & desperately need an extra caregiver...funnily enough, I've just recieved an email (from an ad i placed in sit vac on trademe) from a filipino woman who has traineed as a midwife/nurse. My last question to her, 2days ago was "would you be bringing your 3 children with you?" no answer yet.
Does Ed do personal cares?
Looking fwd to your reply.

Travel
With the assistance of carer & enema
I roll onto a bed-pan when travelling,
then get sitting legs asplay.
So standard ensuite twins are OK, the world over.
i don't rely on wheelchair bathroom facilities,
body wash easily done in bed, shave in the chair.

The short answer is yes,
Ed is able to assist w bowel and bladder care as needed
