HELLO EVERYONE !!! I'M FROM CENTRAL MN. IN THE HEART OF THE LAKES AND LOVE FISHING. IN 2005 I WAS HIT WITH A STAPH INFECTION THAT CREPT INTO MY SPINE AND AM A T6. WHAT A BLOW TO MY "BIG PICTURE" PLANS TO BE A WELL RESPECTED WALLEYE ANGLER. I ENDED UP SELLING MY BOAT AND ENDED UP BUYING A PONTOON THAT WAS CUSTOMIZED FOR MY ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR. AFTER SEVRAL MONTHS OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT I HAD SOME HOME MADE HAND DEVICES MADE SO I COULD CAST, REEL, AND HOLD MY RODS JUST LIKE ANY ABLED BODY PERSON. I DID FISH IN 2 TOURNY'S IN JUNE AND HAD A BLAST. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY OUT THERE HAS IDEAS FOR ME TO BE ABLE TO RUN A TILLER MOTOR INSTEAD OF USING A PONTOON WITH A STEARING WHEEL. LET'S PUT IT THIS WAY....I'D MUCH RATHER HAVE A DEEP V TILLER ANY DAY AND STILL BE ABLE TO RUN IT WITH MY TETRAPLEIGIC HANDS.

I may be off here, but why are you having hand function issues with a thorasic SCI? I'm guessing your injury is actually cervical©.

welcome To the forums though. I havent read much here on fishing, but I'm sure it's bound to start. post on!
