Hi everybody!
I am T7/T8 and looking how to ride again. I`ve been thinkin about several options and scooter/trike is one of them but I`ve also got some open questions. From my point of view I prefer this solution http://jerseybiker.c...ke/p1010027.JPG http://jerseybiker.c...ke/p1010033.JPG http://jerseybiker.c...ke/p1010034.JPG and I intend to make wheelchair carrier from side (like this) http://www.youtube.c...VPo#0v_BadxNsuI but one of major questions is about reverse gear ...is it possible to modify standard scooter that way...I`ve never heard that there are some scooters with reverse gear....I can`t imagine to drive a trike without reverse gear . Any idea??

I am not sure about scooter's but i know handa goldwings have reverse like that. I think it has someting to do with the starter and how its wired, I think there is a way you can change how its wired so it can go in reverse.

That wheelchair carrier is really smart and simple. Of course use some sort of elastic or strap to prevent your foldable wheelchair from opening while you are lifting it. And, I hope you use a strap to keep your knees closer together, not wide out to the sides like that guy. :(

that reverse is pretty simple. on a shaft drive trike i used a ring gear welded to flange on diff & had a starter motor fitter for reverse. it works well but a bit touchy at first
tell me its impossible & i will show you how its done
