My dad is a t4 complete and he said that when he tries to move his toes he sortta feels a weird sensation. I'm not sure what this means and if it's a good or bad thing. Could this just be in his mind?

If he's like me, it's in the head or somewhere between the injury and the head. Most of us with no feeling below our injury, are able to obtain these "weird sensations" by trying to move various parts. It doesn't change anything , but it does offer mild entertainment when otherwise bored.

When I try to move my foot (or both feet) I also get a strange sensation. Sometimes it builds and I actually move it. I can usually tell when I've got a good chance to see movement...but those are usually also times when I am having spasms which move the foot anyway. I have had times when I've been able to move my foot several times over the span of a couple minutes but mostly can't move it no matter how long I try.
Boat racing accident July 2006. Still hoping for some return!

AHAHAHA. Defently the weird sensations are there with me to. But Ed hit is right on the spot. I think about walking when i cant go to sleep and my brain gets so fried out from trying so hard i pass out. Also when i am waiting for the doctor in the office or somthing i just sit and think about moving my feet and it burns like hell. Hasent moved yet but it still entertaining.
