Normally I wear gloves but I got injured playing hockey this week and after some stitches in my hand and wrist I now have to wear this splint on my hand/wrist/forearm area. It looks a lot like the gloves people wear for bowling. Anyways I have to wear this thing for at least two weeks and the outside is softer material and is going to be torn to shreds in a couple of day. I called my local wheelchair places and nobody carrys quad-cuffs (one place didnt even know what they were even after I explained it to them they asked why a quad couldnt just wear regular gloves)... anyways. If I ordered online, by the time they got to my house my splint would be torn up. Because this brace comes up to the fingers I cant wear any kind of glove either.

So, my question is... does anyone have any ideas of how I could make a homemade quadcuff for short term use?
