Hi everyone,

I've seen a urologist with excellent knowledge about SCI patients for the last 10+ years, but he recently passed away. I'm sure you've experienced the blank looks on doctors' faces before when you mention autonomic dysreflexia, but that wasn't the case with him. He had excellent knowledge about SCI; and if he didn't totally understand what was going on, he'd study it or call someone who did. I had the utmost confidence in him, which I haven't had in many doctors since my injury. Since he passed, I've been seeing his associate that worked in the same office; but his associate is ignorant when it comes to SCI. I have so little confidence in him that I've been seeing my general physician (who is very knowledgeable re: SCI) for issues that I should be seeing a specialist for, so I've decided it's time to find a new urologist. Can someone recommend a good urologist in the south or central Georgia area? If not, can someone point me to a website or other resource that would help me in my search?

Too far unfortunately...3 hrs. I do go to see Bruce Green at Shepherd occasionally, but it is too far to go regularly.
