Please excuse my ignorance on this matter but I was hoping someone could answer my question.

Has anyone ever had success with alternate forms of treatment who had had a complete sci.

I have heard of people having success with operations done overseas along with intense physical therapy but I never know the extent of their injury.

I am only asking because my wife is a complete T10 and she says she already feels some tingle sensations and she would not want to go through the hardship, expencse, and risk of surgery for feelings she already has.

Thanks for any and all information for someone with very little knowledge on this. It is still new to all of us.

Hello bross001, we're all learning around here and there aren't many bad questions. I haven't sought out alternative forms of treatment so cannot help there. Can you tell us a bit about how long ago your wife became SCI and what you have gone through for treatment to date? Many people go from complete to incomplete over time if there is some spinal cord which still has a pathway through the injured area.
Boat racing accident July 2006. Still hoping for some return!
