Hi,

I sold a friend's camper on eBay. You really get a lot of exposure that way. There is just one flat listing fee. You don't pay commission on the sale.

Just a few tips though, be VERY specific and accurate in your description. Take several pictures inside and out so the interested party has a clear idea of the condition of the vehicle, like if there is any rust or damage, carpet stains or upholstery damage, take a good close-up so they will know exactly what they are considering. Sometimes when you make the sale the buyer will get there and start picking at it wanting to deal on a lower price and he will say, "Well, look at this and you didn't mention it in the ad." So, give details both good and bad. Be prepared for emails with questions that you didn't think to address in the ad.

Start the price at the very, very lowest that you will take for your vehicle. If it sounds like a bargain, it will get a lot of attention. If it sounds too high to begin with, it will be ignored. You have to remember that it only takes 2 interested people bidding for the price to come up.

We had a successful sale with the camper. We answered every question and gave every detail. When the buyer got here and tried to start bargaining the only thing that he could come up with was that since the tires we sitting on the ground he might have to replace them because of dry rot. That was totally bogus but my friend caved and dropped the already agreed upon price a bit. The buyer drove from another state to pick this camper up. He wouldn't have gone home without it especially since the tires were really good. He just couldn't come up with anything else and my friend was scared that we'd have to resell it.

There is a publication & website called disabled dealer that accepts ads. Also there may be a craigslist in your area. Craigslist.com free ads. I just sold an old chair on it. photos are important.

If there are any mobility equipment stores in the area, you could see if they have a classifieds "community ad" board or something. Maybe even check at the nearest rehab hospital to see if they have any resources for listing used equipment. Just a thought.

Hi, well i dont know if you are still interested..but it does have the bench seat in the back..it also has the two center row seats that are removable to make space for a wheelchair, but a wheelchair will also sit in the passenger seat area (that seat is removable as well)..the only thing is i dont think i could afford to ship it to california, i am in richmond.
