on my neck in the 90's when I broke it.
Well it's started popping & loud all the time.
Should I be worried?
I've been a quad since Oct. 4, '04. I don't have a bone fusion or anything, but I've noticed in the past 8 months or so that every time I move my whole spine seems to "crack and pop", and when I turn my neck it "pops" quite a bit. I thought it's just because I don't move as much as I use to and it's just a lot more noticable now because it's happening more often. I remember learning in school that the "popping" sound is caused when nitrogen gas is released when negative pressure is applied to a joint and it's quite normal.

the odontoid displacment one will allow them to view the very high vertibra with better clarity.

She had restored movement to my neck; I could turn it further round and it was noiseless. I just hear a bit of grating some times but suspect that is old age creeping on. So, I suggest getting off to the doctor and getting checked out. It might be 5 min job by the physio

Thanks for your comments.
I think I will call my Dr. and get ck'd out.
Thanks for the names of the xrays I should have.
I will talk to him about your suggestions.
I'm too scared of getting my neck popped.
It might break worse.
