Did you see the episode of "Flip That House" with Chad Sloan on TLC? It was terrific to see one of our own showing that anything is possible. Chad is a quadriplegic and has a real estate license. He not only sells homes, but also renovates houses. You have to see the show. If you do a search on the web, you can read some articles about him. :P to Chad...

I saw it! I'm somewhat of a fanatic in watching the flipping shows, and he did excellent, quality work on his. I called my sweetie afterwards and warned him that if I ever go into the flipping business, I'm going to need him to help pull out walls and such with his chair, like Chad did. I erm... didn't mention the duct tape, though. :P

Those of us in the UK probalynever get te chance to see the programme. Could anyone tell me the date this edition was on? Sometimes one can 'manage' to get to see such programmes.

Thanks

Hmm....well, I found a schedule on TLC's website for "Flip that House" here, but I don't see anything about Chad's episode being on again. That surprises me, because they show repeats daily, but it looks like they don't include repeats on their schedule, maybe? I'll keep looking around and will post if I see a day/time when it's airing again.

Here's a nice article I found, too.

Thanks for the info, Mary Jane. We, of course, don't get to see these programmes in the UK but there are 'places' from which one can watch later.

I saw that show! I love that show and was happy to see a fellow disabled person flipping a house. I turned to my quad husband (who was watching it with me) & said "We could totally do that!". Always the realist hubby said "Yeah, if the market wasn't so crappy and I could swing a hammer." Hee hee.
