What Kind Of Bag Is Easiest To Travel With?

Im going on my first plane trip away by myself, since being in a chair, in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone has any tips as to what kind of bag is easiest to use. I usually use one of the solid type bags with wheels on the bottom but i find them really hard to control whilst in the chair.
any help would be greatly appreciated
