I vaguely remember reading something about it here or somewhere else. If anyone has a link, that would be great. I was thinking it would be a great idea to trade accessible houses (and vans possily) for a few days with someone in a similar situation as mine, so we wouldn't have to worry about renting lifts and bath chairs, etc. The trick would be finding someone who wanted to come to Oregon I suppose. Just a crazy thought for finding travel ideas for myself and my wife and kids.
Anyone ever done this or heard of this?

I've heard of it before - sounds like a great idea - in theory. But then I always start to think about somebody else sleeping in my bed. Urrrgghhh! Maybe it's just me! :help:

When I was a kid my family did house exchanges. One year, we traveled to New York and the next year to England. Each time we stayed for about a month. Totally a great experience. It's funny, the English house was a two story house but we just loved the family, so we exchanged with them anyway. I remember crawling up those stairs - it was a hoot. Those trips are my fondest memories of any of my many travels, I highly recommend it!

Great, thanks for all the replies! I registered with matchinghouses.com, so we'll see if anything comes of it. I'll check out the other link too.
