What are your waterskiing experinces? Competitions? Problems? Etc.?

I was an aggressive water skier pre sci.Now I just stare at the lake and fish.I live on Lake Eufaula in south Alabama.I'm gonna try to get on my waverunner one of these days soon.

Just progressing to a proper slalom ski myself so no competitions yet - love it though.
