I miss working as crazy as it sounds, I am/ or was a workaholic.
the thing I injoy the most of being a SCI would have to be the Idea that I actually made retirement,if you want to call it that, now if I can get myself a motorhome, I just might injoy it..

I miss being anonymous in a crowd.

I miss going to work (my paycheck & insurance), cleaning house, and doing my yard work. Sweet Jesus, I sound boring!

And, I agree with Nomis, anonymous.

Well I definately go for the Beach, being anonymous and most of all asking my wife to have a dance.
Now that I cant - I want too.

I miss walking in the deep woods/mountains. I love being in a forest all by myself without a trace of civilization around. Thinking about it I guess I miss being able to go anywhere that hasn't been paved over.
Just a regular guy making his way through life.

The thing i miss the most is being able to walk over to a Pretty lady and start a conversation. Its a little harder to do that in a w/c. For me anyways.

why would it be hard. if you could walk over you would brush ppl out of your way, in a chair it is more fun you can run toes over in the prossess, then play it off as an "accident" . instead of standing to dance, you ask her if she wants to get on and you get a free lap dance. look at things from a different perspective.
If you do not take chances in life, you may never know what you can achieve. (the saying goes for every one)

Mine is from illness and birth defect, not an accident. I have constant spasms and am on a lot of meds. It is not safe for me to drive.
