It's been great - no junk mail, no bills etc, no paper to recycle or shred! Let the strike continue......

On one of Royal Mails many previous strikes I put all my credit cards and major utility bill payments on Direct Debit. Email has replaced letters and it's easy to send E-cards instead of cards, so really they're going to make themselves all redundant for nothing and I shant give a monkeys.

I agree with Macca. but I have not yet mastered all the functions of the computer, but at least I can keep in tough with most people.

I work for the NHS and the postal strike has been a nightmare! Trying to get in touch with patients by telephone with appointment times is horrendous. When you have sent a letter out to them and are not sure if they have received it you just don't know if people will turn up - and when there is so much pressure to keep waiting times down it has made working life incredibly difficult.

Also so many people do not update the hospital with their contact details - I would urge all reading this to make sure that your hospital has an up to date contact number for you. :dunno:

Anyway hopefully it will all be sorted out soon.
