Car accident but it wasn't caused by bad weather or anything. It was a drunk dude who ran a red light and t boned me.

stupid drunk drivers, i got hit last year (actually a year ago this weekend) in my van by one, i was able to swerve just enough to miss head-on, luckily i was also the bigger vehicle so my parents and i were fine inside, he didn't stop but was found a couples miles down the road and got busted, he also suffered some injuries but nothing major

It has been a year and a little under a month since my friend was injured. Time has begun to go by more quickly for him now that he is out of the hospital and back at (part-time) work. So, my friend was injured in March last year.

Single SUV rollover. Police report said I fell asleep at the wheel. My seatbelt didn't hold and the airbag did not release. My pregant wife and 2 children walked away (thanks be to God).

May 2009 low speed bike accident just me and a massive gust of wind, Should never have downsized from the big bikes to a ZXR600, wind pushed me towards a downward embankment, could not avoid it so jumped off to avoind going down the hill with 100+kg's of metal - typical bike stayed on the road and I bounced down the hill!
Crawled back up got back on and drove home 5 miles put bike in garage and sat down feeling bloody sore and stupid! tried to get up 20 mins later, last time I sat down from working legs!
T2 fracture, internal bleeding now right side don't work classified T4 incomplete, some movement and power in left leg torso bit hit and miss.

Mid life mistake gave up bikes 8 years ago when kids came along, thought just one more summer,................. still at least I'm still here and my little one of 23 months loves riding on my knee.
:D
Still a child at heart!

October 6th 1998..One of those dates you'll never forget..Woke up 3weeks later and all these peeps were telling me i wouldnt walk again..I was like come on man your freekin crazy, three weeks later it sunk in..I'm from NY and i went to Burke rehab in White Plains for a 3 month stint..I must admit i met some cool a@@ people there, which i still speak to.We used to sneak out and go to a local"watering hole" and watch the games and have a wonderful time until it came time to leave. It seemed like a short roll there(on the way) but on the way back we couldn't find our way back without having the cops come b/c some guy is in the middle of the street doing wheelies..Fun times in a bad situation.. :H2kOther (26):

Sorry just read the whole thread..Racing new Trans Am vs Mustang..Lost it around a turn hit a tree backwards at 115(thats what the report said) prob like 85-90max but enough to do some damage.

October, 1986...our school bus was hit by a semi at around 65mph...we rolled into a field. I was found at the bottom of the heap of kids, bent over backwards on a seatback....I was unconsious when they started pulling us out of the bus, I woke just as they pulled me through the bus door which was pointed towards the sky. Then I was out again....the rest is fuzzy.

Driver said that he never saw us....um duh..big yellow bus?!? :lalala:

Not sure they said my injury was degenerative [hope I spelled that right] but I had surgery on Feb. 10,2009. Last day I worked was Jan.19,2009. The only thing Dr's could agree on was it was consistent with some kind of trama probably a car accident. When I was younger I was run over by a car and when I became an adult I was in a couple car accidents. Got my 20 year service award while I was off sick.
