Well.....

Today - Wednesday, 17th October at 7.30 pm. the London BBC 'Inside Out' programme will be featuring 'The Trekinetic Story.

The programme will concentrate on the problems with the development, some iffy interviews (which we hope will be deleted) and how the final product has been received so far.

I guess everyone will find out whether the K-2 will be making a contribution to society, or not!

We've done our best, now it's over to the BBC to give a balanced view of the new product.

If you are outside the broadcast area, you should be able to see it on the internet, for 7 days after the show.

I still say without being able to take one "for a test drive" I wouldn't try one. I know looks can be deceiving and all. Someone had said they had to leave their wife with MS at home..........well have they tried other wheelchairs? I really don't notice my Quickie XTR having all that many problems with terrain. I either wheelie over or back over most obstacles. I feel real bad for the guy, that he has put so much of his own finances into his invention; but that doesn't make it worthy of buying.

Watched the spot showcasing the treinetic. I was quite impressed, It certaily looks like it's a significant improvement outside than a standard chair. Interesting that's it's being marketed as a outside only chair, looking at it I'd have to transport it around in the boot of the car and use my ordinary chair to get in and out. Not an insurmountable issue.

Got to say I quite fancy having one but it's certainly appears to have it's limitations and as such a pretty small market.

it may be a documentary but does not tell the whole picture
about what has been developed
the after sales service
well no comment comes to mind on that
if the documentary was that good his wheelchairs would be in scuderia red with a pracing horse mounted on them
