Hi
Can anybody help to explain, I'm c5/c6 quad I have a problem of sweating when I urinate. I use condom catheter. I sweat a lot from my shoulders upwards especially on my face with a burning pain. I went to the doctor suspecting Uti but my urine test came negative.

Has this just started happening?

I used to suffer terribly with sweating- I ended up with a SPC and taking Oxybutanin tablets to settle it down.

If i dont go to the bathroom every 8 hrs my blood pressure goes up an that makes me sweat. Does your face feel funny. Im willing to bet its your blood pressrue

Sound like you might be going Autonomic a bit, that's just how I feel when my bladder is full.

Yep sounds like Autonomic Dysreflexia to me also, click link, read about it, something every quad and para should know about.

I do that sometimes (Dunno Why) When I start sweating and hurting I tap my bladder and that usually works........ Outer catheters are the way to go............
