hey, i dont know if any of you have seen "American Chopper" on the TLC where Orange County Choppers built a trike for a para who used to ride. i wrote in to them with a letter trying to see if they'd want to help make one that a 500lb powerchair can roll up on and be operated with one hand only (left hand in my case.) i've got the idea and design in my head how to run a bike with one hand but get a chair up on it...well, any takers??? i used to race motocross n would love a chance to ride again. I know the technology is out there .I'm sure it would cost plenty $$$. I would glady ride with you gustifer. So , you wanna join the gang? HeHeHe!
I've been checking out alot on line. There is a wide variety of trikes out there.
I haven't seen one quite like I want yet .I'll keep looking . I like roo's but I want just a little less of hot rod show trike .just a little less. I do want it to be unique , laid back, and mostly Harley.
I'm going looking for Andrew Meddings now , thanks, Juls. You are very cool. :) Would you ride with me?

Hi those bikes look terrific. In my youth I raced sidecars with my ex husband but I am going back over 40 years/ the outfits were just a plain platform, that I used to hang off also engine much smaller in my days. we used a 500cc Manx Norton, did all the Grand Prix in Europe, O I loved it, and sure liked looking at your bikes, best of luck to you all, but remember the roads are very much busier now, also other drivers do not make much allowance for bikes.

My bike has an eletric actuator that goes down when you need to stop by the flip of a switch. The kit i bought for my bike cost a little over $2000 USD. Everything is electric. I wish the US had something like the NADB. I have been on the web site an stuff, most have trikes. I think thats great the UK is taking care of there people like that. I have not see anyone on there that has a set up like mine. If you want Email me an i will send you pics. They are to big to put on here. kevo6767@yahoo.com

yo dave you'll love the x11 2.0 auto theres about 7 colours and also they have a couple of colour with the glitter on it they look the boolocks when the sun shines on it but make sure you like the colour otherwise if you want to re paint it its a big big headache as the panel are fibre glass and the colours are injected when doing the fibreglass so you would have a lot of rubbing down to do best of luck in finding your dream bike p.s when you get your trike send us some pics @ sunnyrothvillas@yahoo.co.uk take care

I do love the x-11 it's just so big . I like the raked front end, so I like the chopper look. The x-11 loses me with the rear engine , ford 4 cyl. It is probably much faster then a 1500 cc v- twin Harley built right. Built right by the right person I think it will give me all I need for speed.I just gotta gave that V- twin between my legs and that classic but "souped up" Havley sound rumbeling. You'll hear me comming and the sun will be reflecting of all my crome. LOL
Maybe the guys at Boom or Thunder city will help me with a "hybred" Boom /Harley It would be a little of both . It would have to be front engine big v-twin. Untill I get that trike You got the baddest trike I've seen. I like

Hi, here's a couple of photos of my Harley Trike. (posted on here elsewhere but can't find) Front half is a more or less standard Harley softail frame with a Zodiac trike swingarm & axle. Ive had a rear carrier made up for my chair & brakes all work of the bars.

Hey chairman, I love the "ApeHangers", and the fact that it's (was, still is to me) a Softail .How does it ride on bumps ? How about curves? It Looks like it sounds good.
I want to rake the front end . I want a chopper that doesn't ride like a chopper. I think that is one advantage of the boom trikes. I just don't like the rear engine. I gotta have a Harley/ boom x-11.

It rides real well round bends. Ive not really been over any big bumps as yet. Not sure why you'd need to rake the front end (unless you like the look of raked) Mine can be turned back into a bike within a day.
