Chirst! I nearly spit out my tea I'm drinking right now. Those pictures look nothing like hospitals in China! We were at the West Hills Hospital in Beijing. Hubby & I went to China last year for OEC surgery for hubby. OEC cells are very close to stem cells. PM me for more info ...
Anyway, the hospital we stayed out was dingy and something out a third world country (the operating room was first class, however & the doctors and nurses were as well). But, the rooms were terrible. We had to go out and buy an air mattress because the ones they had on our beds would have certainly giving hubby a pressure sore. Also, make sure to bring your own shower chair, towels and lots and lots of soap - you'll want to wash your hands a lot during the day.
Here's a few pic's of our China experience:

Our room (the one with the towel hanging out the window) - the dryers down the hall didn't dry anything!

This is a hall looking from outside our hospital wing (this was the "nice" part of the hospital).

This is one of the entrances on the side. See those meat locker style doors? They are on every door going outside at the hospital. We had to push through those anytime we went outside. Yuck.
So, remember purell and lots of soap.
