  • Spinal Injury Level / Relationship:T4/5 Complete

Posted 02 November 2007 - 11:08 AM

We're looking for paddlers for our Hawaiian canoe team based in Stoke, Staffs. There are oppurtunities to get fit and paddle in International competition representing the UK.

This is a new sport so anyone with commitment can compete at a high level quite quickly. It's also a great sport, expecially when on the sea in rough conditions on a hot day. In Hawaii they surf these canoes on massive Ocean swells.

I'm looking to take this sport to a new level for people with disabilities. Any disability that has a fair grip and OK arm strength can take part!

We especially need ladies! Urgently! Very good chance of competing quickly!

Check our website at http://www.trenthamoutrigger.org.uk.

Thanks
Dan Hopwood
