Hey whats up, i found this forum while researching the effects of magic mushrooms on paraplegics. I myself was paralyzed in a motorbike accident when i tried to jump a street bike off a 15 foot embankment at 100kph, didn't land it to well but it seemed like a good idea at the time (alcohol assisted).

I have tried doing mushrooms twice in the past since my accident but both times only did a couple pieces to just test out their effects on me, both times my legs started stretching, tensing and bouncing like crazy. So i started researching the effects on others that have done larger amounts cause in a week or so I'm going to be doing them again (6-8 grams i hope) and am hoping i do enough to overcome the spastic legs and allow me to trip.

I have found all the posts in this thread very useful and now have an excellent idea of what i should be expecting. I have done mushrooms/acid pre-injury and loved them without end, doing them was like setting life aside for awhile and just having a blast. While in the chair i have done E on numerous occasions and as long as the E was a good mix of whatever was in it I would have an awesome time on it, there would be some minor leg bouncing and spasms but drinking alcohol at the same time could calm that down alot.

Anyways just wanted to thanks all who posted their experiences and say that i will be capturing this trip on video and will hopefully be uploading it to the net and could post a vid on here also that could be used to show the effects of shrooms on us paralyzed folks.

Thanks

Brandon.

Are there any tests you can do to see if your brain is damaged ( but it could be too late !! )?

i ate 2 grams of shrooms last weekend just to try it out for the first time... im a t-11 para. and for the first 45 mins i was fine then all of a sudden i started getting leg spasms.... so i went to my bedroom and layed in bed for the next hour. still havein intense spasms my legs were jumpin around like they were wanting to dance lol... so i drank about 1/2 a gallon of water to help my self throw up. after this expirence i would not recomend anyone with a sci to do them unless you like uncontrolable body movement that is very noticable in public and some what uncomfortable...

Im 19 and drugs used to be a big source of fun for me. After reading this and being a frequent user of E pre injury ive decided that some spasms are more than worth it for that little slice of heaven in pill form [look the pills up on pillreports.com before taking if your gonna do it!!!].

Im gonna drop E, ill let you know how it goes.

I only did shrooms once before and it was my favorite thing ive ever done pre injury, will also try that again and tell you what happened.

ill keep booze handy to counter the spazy's and ill tape some of my trip for science ;P

p.s. any ravers in chairs besides me?

Seeing as MDMA is now impossible to obtain due to one of the ingredients being illegal as well as MDMA beeing illegal I wonder what is in pills these days. That mephedrome is nice, but now illegal so hard to get pure!

When I had my baby, I had to have a C-section. They were having a very hard time getting me medicated properly and so the anesthesiologists told my hubby that they emptied the medicine cabinet on me. He told us it was the medicinal equivalent of LSD. All I know is that I felt like I was under a bed and someone was pushing a mattress on my face. I could not breathe, I could not swallow, I could not move my hands...I really thought I was dying. Ever since that surgery (a little over a year ago), I constantly have floaters in my eyes, I can still go from being fine to suddenly my ears ringing, feeling like I am going to black out, going from freezing cold to sweating like crazy, feeling like I am moving when I am not, and my heart will suddenly feel like it is racing in my chest (although it is not racing when you feel my pulse). I know it has to do with the drugs they gave me. I had never ever had surgery before and I was not used to any meds. I think it really has done a number on my body. These things have slowly gotten much better. My ears don't ring as loud, I don't feel like I'm going to pass out now, etc. But I never had any of these things before the surgery so I can see a clear connection. Maybe I am wrong but I don't think so.

My opinion - it's awful!! I don't know why anyone in their right mind would choose to do it on purpose!
