Despite getting me licence again,I cant drive due to pain and shock attacks. so I post this,as i really am proud and thinks it an achievment i got this far because i thought the only wheels i would drive again is the head and feet controls on one of these nhs bad boys.

I get me more attention than i got driving me or me mates clapped out bangers or me posh mates posh cars on the electric asda mobile

I always did want a vechile that made people stop and stare, next time going to be careful for a wish for, I may just get it full-filled I ought to have made clear why I wanted them to stop and stare, because i get a feeling it aint because its 'wooo look at that racy blond'. More like 'poor fecking thing (or so the loud whispers told me).

I really am not doing so as a spoof, with a top speed of 2 miles an hour, reduced to 0.5 miles per hour when its running low on fuel.

I only dream of owning a street one yet cant turn me neck to see whats behind me and i would be a danger to meself and others (others more)

Its rubbish but all I do drive and I am great at 3 point turns and spinning it in a circle,as long as someones with me to look behind me.And better than the cheap-o stores that have none

I have a renault master WAV with a lift(almost a white van job) , but need to wait see if can drive it or im going need hand controls .Already figured if i can mange how I am going to get in it , will take the bench seat out at the front then can transfer across to the driver seat .

Will look around but I need the room to get us all in and the crap that we need to take on a day out

When I do drive. Normally travel to work (using an electric wheelchair there) by TMV (Total Mobility Vehicle) which is a wheelchair taxi/van.

I have a minivan with hand controls. I am stubborn about getting a ramp because I don't want to waste room in the car. For now I can waddle to the back and lift my chair out but if I want to use my scooter I need someone strong with me to do it. I guess I will give in one day.

I have two cars right now, one for the summer and one for the winter. My favorite is my 2005 Mazda RX8. With the suicide doors my wheelchair loads so easy and I do enjoy the speed. For the winter, I use a 2000 Cadillac Eldorado. Nothing like cruising in style and luxury.

AHHH! A kindred spirit! My first fellow gimp-Rx8 owner! I have a 2004, which I bought new. I love it.

The Ford Probe caught on fire a while back, which was the final slip that knocked it into the grave.

And promptly replaced with a 2012 Honda Civic. OMG it's beautiful! I'm so used to driving around a rusty box on wheels.

sigh... I drive the 2002 Chevy sedan my dad gave me after my accident and he stopped diving. I always hated that car, and now it is mind. On the good side, it is automatic, a necessary evil, and it was free but for the $800 brake job necessary at the outset.

Meanwhile hubby is driving the John Cooper Works Mini Clubman. sigh...

I have a 2007 quad cab Dodge Dakota with hand controls. I just break down the chair and toss it in the back seat. I've really done a number on the head liner throwing the chair in and out lol, but oh well it beats not driving!
