so Gabe and I are getting married in August, and we were thinking that in lieu of traditional wedding favors, we would make a donation on behalf of our guests to SCI research...

I'm wondering what Foundation/Project we would be best to send the money to...

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Heather

thanks Doug...

I am also considering:

The Miami Project

The Rick Hansen Foundation (we're getting married in Vancouver, and people here are familiar with his story)

It's tough... there are many worthy foundations I'm sure, we just want to donate to the one where our money will be "best" served... whatever that means

Stephen Davies at the University of Colorado will be moving to clinical testing for CHRONIC patients soon. Here is a link to the donation info. You should read the entire thread, then send him $
