BTW, for those that don't know, our fellow crazy aka Scribbler is an RAF flyboy and the Hawker Hunter was his ride. Hunters played a major role in the cold war, protecting Europe from the communists. They were also one of several jet fighters used by the RAF's elite Black Arrow Acrobatic team. Here are a few videos of Hunters in action...well done Mike :crazy:

(Hey Jerry - You're an incredible guy as you can find anything on the Internet where others, like me fail. :recourse:

Do you know the year that Black Arrows Video was made? I was "Black 4", so might have been in it, but I've never seen it before although I recognised my base; RAF Wattisham......... You know how to bring a tear to a grown man's eye Jerry.)

(I was flying in 1958 at the beginning of this vid Jerry, but injured shortly after)

Mike, I sent a msg to the person who posted/uploaded the Black Arrows video on Yahoo, asking if they knew of the date the video was shot, if/when i get a replay I'll let you know. Btw, I had the pleasure of meeting several of the Blue Angles, our USA acrobatics team, back in 1968 at Los Alamitos Naval Air Station; not to far from my house. Way cool dudes, their ride was the F11F-1 Tiger, now a days it's the F/A -18A/B Hornet, photos of both are below...T/C mate, tears/memories are good things.
