I've been a low level quad for 19 years now and have done a bit of big game fishing. Unfortunately I had to stop when I sold my boat. Well, recently since I moved to Florida the bug has hit me again and this has made me curious. How many disabled people go big game fishing? If so, how do they do it? If you don't, are you interested in trying it?
The biggest fish I caught while disabled was a 65 pound Yellowfin Tuna in the Hudson Canyon, 110 miles South East of New York Harbor. I was in a fighting chair with a spring-loaded gimble on my 30 ft Mirage Center console called 'Leev'n You'.
So who else has ventured onto the deep blue to catch some mighty big fish? I'd love to read some stories from other fisherpersons. Heh, can't say fishermen, 'cause I know a few ladies that will out fish a man any day of the week.

Sorry haven't tried the big game fishing... though it sounds interesting. My favorite has always been trout fishing, which I have always done from the bank. As the bank-bound thing isn't happening anymore I bought a kayak. The browns and rainbows I've pulled out from this thing only size up to a few pounds, but man are they fun to catch.
In Fl do you fish the Atl or the carrib?
Almost forgot... on the Cumberland River
