Hi,

My boyfriend is a c5 quad and wears a corset to help torso stability which is compounded by scoliosis. He needs the corset, but the bottom edge rubs against the pelvic bones on his back. Having had some bad experiences with bed sores in the past, i am extra vigilant, but until we get a new corset would like to use some kind of adhesive foam dressing over those 2 spots to protesct them a little more. They are not showing signs of being a sore and stayed constant for months now, but are very red by the end of the day.

Can anyone recommended a stick on foam dressing or smth, I am think of one with a sticky border, rather than one that will stick to the actual red bit. Someone suggested Allevyn? (which one, if thats a good idea)

Any input would be great... I am far more concered with prevention than having to deal with a cure!!

Thanks everyone.

Jayde
