I have had a Pegesus air mattress for years and I absolutely love it. The problem is that I need to purchase a new one and apparently Pegasus has sold their homecare business to another company, and they of course want you to buy their bed, not the Pegasus.

I see people here have mentioned a Hill Rom as equivilent to the Pegasus, but can anyone tell me which model Hill Rom would be the equal to a Pegesus? I need to get the bed as soon as possible.

I would greatly appreciate any info. anyone has regarding pressure relief mattresses.

If another firm has bought Pegasus then it doesn't matter which they sell you, they still make the money! You can order Pegasus equipment DIRECT from their website http://www.pegasus-uk.com as they have an online store and avoid the salesmen.

Hi Simon,

I tried that and because I live in the US, the Pegasus Website for the UK will not ship outside of the UK. They advise me to contact the US Pegasus website, which was bought out by Huntleigh Healthcare. Huntleigh seems to have very little Pegasus inventory left and want to sell their mattress instead of the Pegasus. However, the Huntleigh mattress is only a two cell alternating, while the Pegagsus is a three cell.

Other people have suggested a Hill-Rom mattress, but I am not sure which of their products would be equal to the Pegasus Renaissance that I am so used to. It is very frustrating to want to buy a product and have such a hard time getting it.
