There are a couple of places in north america that sell them and even one place that has a disabled persons "ranch" that takes you out to do downhill adventures on them for the more adventerous of us. I'll see if I still have the details.

Here are a few links that should get you going. I don't know where you are located, but there is also a following in the european countries as well. Check around, there are quite a few different designs. The first link is to the exact bike you were interested in. The second and fourth links may help you find used equipment cheaper. Let me know if you need more links.

ryan68,

Just wanted to give you a very quick response.
A few things to consider, a very high end 2 wheel dh mtb bike is around 8,000 dollars here in Canada. The canadian dollar is at different levels all over the globe, exchange rate will effect your local pricing. Also be aware our pricing includes ALL related taxes.Keeps things simple.

We at R-ONE, the owners/race team, are puchasing our personal bikes, from our own company, for the same exact price we offer it to you for.We at R-ONE are not into this for a money making venture, we are interested in selling bikes and seeing the sport grow.

Peace

I have been interested in building a race car somewhat like these only with a motor. The size and shape is somewhat like the fourcross mountain machine only with no suspension and powered with a wheel chair electric motor. These could be raced indoors or out, cheap to build and you don't have to go long distances to drive it.

I would like to get some feedback on this idea. Here are some pics of the buggies I have been building for the last 4 or so years.

Hi Theo

Im involved in promoting "downhill mountain biking" through the Rough Riderz club, with full suspension bikes capable of handling the speed, jumps and other terrain you find on proper downhill trails...

Your buggies look pretty cool though... I would love to have a go in one!
:crytch:
They look like a lot of fun, so where exactly are you based? Some of our members might be interested in this sort of machine, but it looks like a completely different animal to the Fourcross bike. Im not sure what other feedback I can give you really but please feel free to email me at www.roughriderz.co.uk with all the details and costs, etc of your buggy design.

Cheers, Phil

Hi Phil, the buggy in the photobucket is what I have been building and working on. I what to build a different machine somewhat like the down hill 4 wheel racers, in size, but without suspension and for racing somewhat like go karts.

Hi Theo :specool:

Ive received an email from Ted Willard? about the buggy... but I cannot reply to it? There appears to be no return address, or it has been blocked, cos I have just received a "failed delivery" notice when I attempted to reply!

Please can one of you email me again with your own details so I can reply to his queries?

Cheers, Phil
